Today we shipped Laravel Cloud, Starter Kits (React, Vue, & Livewire), VS Code Extension, and Laravel 12.
Laravel Cloud
You're 60 seconds from deploying your first Laravel application without managing servers. Learn more or try it now.
- Automatic autoscaling and hibernation
- One-click databases, caching, and storage (Postgres today; MySQL very soon)
- Built-in DDoS, SSL, CDN, and edge caching
- laravel.cloud domains as preview URLs for every environment
Starter Kits
We've completely rebuilt our Starter Kits, making it easy to go from idea to app with Laravel and React, Vue, or Livewire. Get started here.
Each Starter Kit provides the scaffolding for a Laravel app with authentication, a dashboard, and user profile settings. Choose from Laravel's built-in authentication or WorkOS, which supports social authentication, passkeys, and SSO.
They use Tailwind v4.0 + shadcn components for React & Vue, and newly open-sourced Flux components for Livewire.
VS Code Extension
With 63,000 installs during beta, our official VS Code extension is stable with:
- Blade syntax highlighting
- Eloquent autocompletion
- Route, config, and middleware linking
- Smart diagnostics
Laravel 12
Every Tuesday we release a new version of the framework, which has included a lot of big updates in the last year. Laravel 12 is primarily a housekeeping release to update upstream dependencies. View the upgrade guide.
Some highlights from recent releases that you might have missed:
- Response::eventStream
- Date query helpers like wherePast, whereFuture, whereToday
- Fluent URI Builder
- Laravel Echo 2.0 with better TypeScript support
New Homepage
We also have a new homepage to better describe all the tools we provide to help you build, deploy, and monitor your apps.
